The Best Practice Network for Children in State Custody
VSHP wants to help children in state custody. VSHP has a special customer service team, called the Best Practice Network Unit (BPN).
This team handles questions from the Department of Children’s Services (DCS). It also works with resource parents. It works with providers. The State of Tennessee decides what members can use the BPN. Only the State of Tennessee can put children in the BPN.
The goal of the BPN is to work with the DCS and with providers to make sure there are no blocks for these children. It helps these children get their health care benefits.
